According to the physical constructal law, the evolution of life, technology, medicine, food production, culture, etc. cannot evolve without “freedom.”

It can be free if you want to just write it down on a napkin.  But if you want something that could hold up in court you probably need to go to a place like LegalZoom and pay $69 for your will.

Yeah, yeah, I know, this debate is "formalish."  But actually my flippant response proves a point.  No matter how you try to predict or control the direction people will go they are still capable, if they so choose, of going a different direction.  They don't always do it, but they can.  Their socialization may lead them to choose one way or another, but in the length and complexity of an average life it isn't simply one way or another, it goes many ways.  And if you argue a god has predisposed them to go one way or another then you may want to ask which god would decide I should make a LegalZoom joke on this debate at this time?

The seemingly unpredictable nature of life itself is pretty good evidence that yes we have free will.
