I'm not biased here. I've played Baseball, Soccer and Basketball. So, I know a lot about other sports, just so I don't get called biased

Field hockey may seem rather dull.

But NHL ice hockey is a fast-paced game.

Ironies include:

 Canadians are known the world around for their civilized good manners,

until they get a hockey stick in their hands. Then they don't give a puck.

 It's called the NATIONAL hockey league, but it includes players from the U.S., Canada, & Europe. Can you say Olvechkin?

 Why is the NHL so fisticuffs prone? Sure, there are bench-clearing brawls in MLB, and an occasional scuffle @NFL.

 But the NHL seems to dominate. Why?

I would say football, real football, is the best sport as it is overwhelmingly more popular and more played than any other sorts on a global scale. It's easy to access, all you need is a ball and a couple pieces of trash to mark the goal.

@Zombieguy1987 Hockey is pretty exciting and intense but I would say combat sports like MMA competition and boxing are up there with the best. Extremely physically challenging, mentally challenging and high levels of skill and practice and most exhilarating aspect of all.....courage, it's even somewhat spiritual on a certain level. I think combat sports rank as the highest peek of competing.

Isn't hockey the same as soccer? The second letter in their name s are O,  the third is C, the fifth is E, they're played by both men and women, uh........
