Wowsil, here's a real joke:

One day, an atheist accosted a rabbi on the street.

"Do you believe in life after death?"

The rabbi has no time to reply.

"Well it’s a load of rubbish!" shouted the Atheist. "I believe in science, evolution, survival of the fittest, and when we die, that's it! No eternal life, no judgment, and no G-d!" The Atheist continues his assault against the rabbi tirelessly.

"Eternal life! Ha! Its all pie in the sky when you die. When I die that's it, the end, no eternal life, no nothing." He continues, until he reaches his climax, "I will be buried six feet under when I die and that's it! Nothing! Caput! When I die I am utterly convinced that that will be the end of me!"

"Well, thank G-d for that" replies the rabbi.

Who wants the real truth about believers , here it  is ........

George Bush says he speaks to god every day, and Christians love him for it. If George Bush said he spoke to god through his hair dryer, they would think he was mad. I fail to see how the addition of a hair dryer makes it any more absurd.

I have never seen an atheist pick on random person on the street and preach about the evils of religion and the goods of atheism.

I have seen the opposite happen many times, however.

Jokes are good when they are playing on something that happens in reality. In this case, the joke is projection, which adds a certain satisfying tint to it.

@Judaism I disagree with it somewhat. It implies that god controls evolution, which isn't true. If you observe evolution you see how it is a random process rather than some controlled thing. Sure, humans have improved over time, but some have went backwards and have been erased historically through natural selection.
