NBC just piloted a new series, Manifest, with passengers landed without realizing they were missing for 5 years.
I just saw the first episode and can’t figure out what’s going on.  Are they in parallel universe, with voices from the other timeline telling them what to do? Is God guiding them? Were they abducted by aliens and were returned, or did they hit some sort of a weird time pocket?
