As a centrist Christian, I resent POFs being forced to violate their religious faith. A POF is a Person Of Faith. I will glady fund healthcare and irth control with my tax dollars, but I will not fund an abortion.

I do not think the government is going to ask for your permission to take your money to fund an abortion.

I am against the government funding abortion. But I am also against the government funding healthcare or birth control. The government should not spend our money in a way that we do not consent on.

Remember the famous quote? 

First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.

Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out— because I was not a trade unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

You did not speak out when the government was spending your money on things you agreed with. Now it will spend it on things you disagree with, and it is too late to change your mind. This is the reality of life.

You used an interesting quote that surprisingly does fit. Anyway back to the original topic, I don’t think that my taxpayer money should be wasted on the murder of unborn children.
