Sergey Brin and many other talented immigrants are great assets to our country.  The point is not to ban immigrants, our country is founded on that principle - Trump's point though is to ensure that immigrants from specific high risk countries are appropriately vetted not to endanger American citizens.

I think the point is not if we should actually ban Sergey Brin, and not the fact if he is Muslim or not.  This debate makes a point if it is okay to limit immigration, and cheat USA out of hugh potential like Sergey, who will make the next Google.  I think the argument by ale5 is if the next Sergey is actually Mohammed from Iran, who is a technology genius and a refugee that just got banned, instead of immigrating to the USA and founding the next Google to make the World better, Mohommed gets banned and stays behind to become a small time engineer in Iran.
we need to balance that view with ensuring that Mohammed gets properly vetted, and for every Mohammed the next Google genious, we end up with 100 suicide bombers entering our country.
so no, dont ban Sergey, but dont use that as an argument for unscreened immigration.
