Stock market isn't as much affected by individuals, as it is affected by the implications those individuals' actions may have on the economy. Since Trump was elected and the upcoming tax reform was in the air, consumer and business optimism have been rising off the charts, and these factors always contribute to a rapid growth of stock value. The growth has been so surprising, that it even lead to multiple instances of market overheating, when the stock values would suddenly drop as the realization came that their value was exaggerated.

Trump has a very explosive individuality, however, and can change his mind on anything in a matter of a few hours. So only time will tell if the growth will persist, or if the trend reverses eventually.
