I think this is interesting because some people take offence if something is one way instead of the toned down version. For instance, people don't say Merry Christmas, they say Happy Holidays. This is a pet peev of mine and what are your thoughts?
A good debate is not judged by bias, but in the context of the debate, where objectivity is key and rationale prevalent.

We can't say, since Congress isn't controlled by conservatives right now. When you add the number of open-borders globalist republicans to the number of democrats, Congress is obviously not conservative. Even Trump isn't particularly conservative, that was one of the main complaints against him during the primaries and the source of disagreement from many never-Trumpers. That said, Trump has always spoken out against political correctness, and his time in the White House has reflected his views; his calling out both sides for the violence in Charlottesville, some of his statements about illegal immigrants, and the White House wishing a Merry Christmas come to mind.

Even pure anarchy has PC because if you in any way advocate government, cops and/or money/economy in an anarchy you'd be beaten senseless until you learned to keep your mouth shut.
There is always a set of things that if you say it will get you 'beaten up' in any society AT ALL.
For instance, if we talk on this site and call debaters nerds, that's a very basic level of PC. A more subtle but harsher punished example of PC would be to advocate CreateDebate.com, Debate.org and/or Reddit.com in any way at all on this site but ESPECIALLY if one would say those sites were BETTER rather than equal. The 'truest' PC and the harshest punished would be in any way breaking the real-life laws of USA or whatever nation you are based in if it isn't USA (but still USA) as this site is based in USA and your nation is where you accessing the Internet meaning both at once need to be obeyed while using this site. Examples include death threats (outside of obvious innuendo in a rap battle), hate speech that would incite real-life violence to you for your race, religion etc. or (and this one is actually something you need to truly appreciate) admitting you are of a religious outlook and advocating it that is banned in your nation. You may think the anonymity of the username saves you but unless you've literally used a VPN from the time you made you account's email(s) to the time you are posting on this site, you can be traced and if you are saying things that promote any religious outlook other than Islam (even secularism) you actually can be arrested and punished in any Sharia nation so take care, the same way if you advocate Scentiology but have a UK IP address, take care as it's illegal to promote and to adhere to Scientology in any way in the UK. There's other things that are even more subtle but basically the crux of my essay here is there's always PC in any society, even the society of this very website.

Political correctness is, like everything else, good in a reasonable amount. Complete lack of political correctness would lead to a very harsh and likely violent world - but political correctness going to the point where saying "Merry Christmas" offends someone is also an extreme I would not like to see. People need to be able to take a hit, but they should not have to take hits all the time, so to speak. Conflicts strengthen the character, but overly frequent conflicts break it.
