The complaint alleges that managers at Macy’s flagship Herald Square department store in Manhattan gave instructions to store attendants to racially profile Asian customers with the aim to limit their buying.
The four complainants, three of whom are Asian-American, were fired last year after complaining about the alleged profiling to the Macy’s union and to administration.

I think it's ridiculous that Macys would do this.  Are they running a business or a charity? They should be happy with higher sales, and if they their prices are too low - raise them!

If they can actually prove hat Macy's was doing this, as claim indicates then its not only illegal but poor business acumen. If there is a market for reselling back in China and Taiwan based on low prices from US then a global issue should be revisited.  
Macys doesn't resonate with me as the only store that would have that issue.
