Probably.  They're the FBI.  They both uncover lies and dish out their own calculated lies every day.  That's what the top levels of law enforcement arms of governments do.  It's just usually they get to do it on behalf of a whole administration whereas now instead they have to do it because there is a bigger bad guy in the room and they know it.  But heck, even if they're only half as dirty as their counterparts in other nations they're still going to be a whole lot of dirty to find if you could just see behind the dark sunglasses.

It looks like the DOJ is STILL lying about the texts.  They have only turned over 15% or less of the texts, and only those that have been cleared by the DOJ and Mueller and have no intention of releasing any more.  Their reasoning?  "to facilitate the committee's access to potentially relevant text messages without having to cull through large quantities of material unrelated to either the investigation of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's use of a personal email server or the investigation into Russian efforts to interfere with the 2016 presidential election."  The cover-up continues unabated.
