  I don't agree with flat tax, but like progressive more. It is a much more fair tax system which does not benefit the upperclass as much.

  I like Bill Gates' idea on flat taxing consumption and nothing else. Ideally, I would like to see no taxes whatsoever and all property managed by private companies instead - but I doubt such a system would appear anywhere until, at least, a few decades later. As of now, the "no tax" system only exists in several countries such as UAE, where the government can maintain itself off the nationalized oil industries and does not need any contribution from its citizens.
  
  Progressive tax is incredibly unfair and harmful for the economy. Regressive tax could work, but would result in a high societal instability.

  My favorite tax system was none of the options.  My ideal tax system would be entirely based off of sin taxes.  It makes more sense to punish someone by a tax for doing something bad then to punish someone by a tax for doing something good.
